ElectroniCast Market Research: People’s Republic of China Fusion Splicer Use

According to a new market research study by ElectroniCast Consultants, the Telecommunication application held a 50 percent relative market share of fiber optic fusion splicer consumption value in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), last year in 2011.

Fusion splicer use in all of the applications is slotted for double-digit growth (2011-2016).  The Military/Aerospace, Specialty (intra-enclosure, test and measurement, laboratory, other applications/non-specific) and the Private Enterprise Network applications are forecast with the fastest growth.
