NeoPhotonics Establishes NeoPhotonics Japan, Godo Kaisha, in Tokyo

US-based NeoPhotonics Corporation has established NeoPhotonics Japan, Godo Kaisha, in Tokyo.

The new office will support NeoPhotonics' existing customers in Japan, and will serve functions including sales, supply chain management, and development of products for the Japanese market.

Since its establishment in 1996, NeoPhotonics Corporation has led the way in designing Photonic Integrated Circuit(PIC)-based optical communication modules, components and subsystems for high bandwidth applications.

NeoPhotonics has expanded its Japan business to become a supplier to large communication equipment makers such as Fujitsu, and others. The company has production facilities in the US and China.
